GOAL OF THE ASSOCIATION
We strive to bring together a community of dedicated editors to improve publishing culture in the book industry, periodical mass media, language culture of Internet media, radio and television, cinema, advertising, and information products. We aim to provide advisory and expert assistance in the professional activities of editors, and teachers of the editorial and publishing profession.
Main activities of the Ukrainian Editors' Association
Creation of an expert environment for analyzing the level of language and publishing culture of Ukrainian books, sholarly journals, print and online media, advertising, and PR texts.
Provide advisory assistance to editorial offices, publishing houses, and other organizations on improving publishing and language culture.
Issuance of recommendations, practical guides, creation of multimedia digital platforms, organization of face-to-face and distance courses, schools of editorial skills to improve the professional level of Ukrainian editors.
Formation of a modern editing model and popularization of forward-looking editorial practice.
Expert environment.
Assistance to media editors, publishers and other organisations.
Coordinate the activities of university teachers training Ukrainian editors.
